I had a dream where I was unable to say
the words
they tremored at the top of my vocal cords
and clamored to be heard
but i swallowed them all
in voluntary
diffidence
to the inevitability
of perfect entropy
i am directed every which way
and indirected by the pressure waves
i am unable to bring to bear
on the unbearable space between you and me
you and who i used to be
